As we watch them bloom, you need not to worry about potty training, we got that covered! You will come home one day and find out your child is crawling, then walking and Bingo, off we set him to our Toddlers’ haven!
With an ample space to explore, wander and discover, we go beyond colour recognition and memorization by repetition counting. Our toddlers will learn through dancing, arts and sandbox fun time! It’s a celebration of joy associated with childhood and the excitement of knowledge acquisition individually tailored to meet their personalities. Getting ready to explore preschool, the journey begins with stimulating each child’s curiosity in the world around them, encouraging a love of learning, and developing early reading, mathematical, physical, social, and artistic skills. In PineManor, the joy for learning is as evident in the classroom as it is on the playground. Early reading skills are cultivated through a print rich environment that encourages students to use their innate curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Purposeful inquiry is at the heart of our literacy program which awakens the scientist and the explorer in every child.
Our early numeracy program offers activity-centered, sensory manipulative programs in which students learn through the five senses. Materials, from pattern blocks to acorn tops, are real and physically present before the student, engaging the child’s senses. The activities are, in themselves, enjoyable and interesting. Embedding significant mathematical learning in play and classroom routines allows the integration of mathematical learning throughout the day and there is no such thing as “math time” but our children will give Einstein a run for his money.
Three year old children are naturally curious about the world around them. PineManor Three Year Old children begin activities in exploration, investigation, and observation. They will develop their observational skills by using their senses to gather and record information. They will begin making predictions and have discussions about their ideas, critical initial stages of embracing the scientific process. Children will examine change over time in natural settings as well as develop respect for living things in the environment.
Our four-year-olds are geared to be imaginative, energetic, inquiry-based learners who explore the classroom environment with curiosity and purpose. These Preschoolers are eager to learn and school activities are designed to involve and engage these young students with interesting lessons and materials. Experienced teachers plan thematic units in math, literacy, science, social studies, art, music, and movement to thoroughly prepare children for a smooth transition to kindergarten with a rich, robust learning foundation. Students make independent choices in a child-centered learning environment, following well-established structures and routines to guide them. Opportunities for hands-on learning are presented daily, allowing students to grow through play and real-world experiences. Daily activities are scheduled in whole group and small groups to promote socialization and community building. Students engage in conversations with teachers and friends daily, learning to take turns, listen, and share.
Print-rich classrooms enable students to be immersed in literacy acquisition, developing letter and word recognition. Throughout the day, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development are nurtured in a warm, caring, safe environment, providing students with the early skills to become lifelong learners.
Test prep activities are embedded in the curriculum to prepare our pre schoolers to take the exams for admission into the best independent private primary schools. We attempt to give our students an advantage through practice, exposure, and familiarity with test taking skills and formatting.
